The Jewel On Display

While some explore far places,
Spanning distance great and vast,
To search for hints and traces,
Of some treasure trove to last,
This traveler’s quest is over,
With triumphant tales to boast,
In my journey I’ve discovered,
Friends are treasures valued most,
You’re like a precious jewel,
Of intrinsic, priceless worth,
A living, matchless mural,
A showcase of timeless mirth,
Whose joyous, vibrant colors,
Where God’s handy-work’s portrayed-
Adds wondrous, flagrant luster,
You’re my Jewel on display,

You wrote about me. Thanks so much!
Word Wielder:I've never written to the beat of seven syllables per line but like the rhythm. maybe its because you are a musician and I am not. Your rhyme is not rigid but flexible. jewel and mural are not exact but work well. Luster and color are good too. Over and discover are nicely flexible as well. Enjoyed the read and theme. Thanks.
Always a pleasure to visit.
